‘By far the most imaginative current idea in the realm of music education’ (Robert Thickness, The Times)
This new and innovative software package puts students in the director's chair and stimulates creative and informed decision making. A large scale project that took over two years in development, it received the backing and support from the DfES to enable its provision in every state secondary school in England (approx 5000). It is considered to be a major educational resource for use within the National Curriculum, and subsequently was adopted by the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust as a core resource for their continuing professional development initiative for teachers of the performing arts.
Working closely with the award winning educational software company Immersive Education, Michael Spencer (former Head of Education, Royal Opera House, and Director of Creative Arts Net) was responsible for the creative leadership, coordination, and provision of support materials for this project and was involved in the creation of a support structure for the support of teachers and schools both from the internet and through the implementation of training workshops.
